The concept of intentional controlled islanding (ICI) is introduced as a proactive measure to safeguard the power system against blackouts in event significant disturbances. It involves strategically partitioning into self-healing islands, thereby mitigating impact such This study introduces new framework for creating stable, islands systems with large-scale wind plants. proposed strategy takes account plants on coherency grouping generators constraint ICI problem. algorithm employs Virtual Synchronous Motion Equation (VSME) model asynchronous replace and groups all generators, including synchronous turbine based their dynamic coupling. Support Vector Clustering employed problem determine coherent generator clusters cores formed islands. can identify optimal number without prior information about clusters. In this study, Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) formulated address objective minimising imbalance each island after splitting while ensuring transient stability frequency ICI. Simulation results modified 39-bus 118-bus test demonstrate that integrating Inertia Controller wind-integrated high-inertia behaves similarly conventional only during procedure.
